On May 27, 2015, Mr. Gong Wenhuan, the General Manager of International Cooperation Department of WIOT, visited the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Guangzhou and had a friendly and thorough communication with the Consul General of Poland, Ms. Joanna Skoczek and her fellows.

General Manager Mr. Gong Wenhuan introduced to the Consul General in details the development concepts, development history, development plan for WIOT industrial base, international cooperation development and planning, industrial base, achievements and latest development of WIOT, among which the two platforms for international cooperation was mainly introduced – International Technology Transfer Platform and Products Exhibition and Trading Platform. A series of cooperation cases were introduced, including the cooperation of international technology transfer between WIOT and the National Research, Development and Innovation Office of Hungary, EEBF, Oxford Isis Innovation Ltd. and Lancaster University, as well as the cooperation of international products exhibition and trading with Hungarian National Trading House.

After General Manager Mr. Gong Wenhuan finished his introduction to WIOT and the operation modes of the two platforms, both parties discussed upon the potential cooperation areas in the future, i.e. technology transfer and products exhibition and trading of SMEs.

Consul General Ms. Joanna Skoczek believes that the potential of SMEs and startups are the greatest. They are willing to enter international markets while they have no idea how to do so. That is why she wants to see whether WIOT can offer relevant support services. She hopes that a platform could be built with its operators in both Poland and China, and detailed ideas will be offered afterwards. Ms. Joanna Skoczek said she would introduce WIOT to relevant government agencies, chambers of commerce, associations, universities and colleges, R&D institutions and companies and assist in the cooperation between WIOT and relevant organizations and enterprises. She would provide relevant meeting details for relevant departments and appoint colleagues to follow the cooperation issue.
