On March 26th, Kalvin Ma, Chairman of WIOT Technology Group Co., Ltd. and Miklos Horvath, Senior Vice-President of Hungarian TESCO Group signed official contract under the witness of leaders and guests including Dr. Reka Szemerkenyi, Senior Advisor of the Hungarian Prime Minister’s office, Xu Ping, Vice Director of Management Committee of Foshan New City, Lai Chushu, Director General of Foshan New City Developmental and Economic Promotion Bureau, Ye Minjian, Deputy Director General of Investment Bureau of Sino-German Industrial Services Zone, Mai Junmian, Deputy Mayor of Foshan New City Lecong Town and Director General of Lecong Economic and Technological Promotion Bureau.

It is known that established in 1962, TESCO International Cooperation and Consulting Services Co. Ltd. has a history of more than 50 years, similar to the semi-official China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, playing an important role in international business and international cooperation. Through technological research and development and technological services, turnover of TESCO in Europe, North Africa and Middle East has reached several trillion RMB.

As early as the late 1980s, TESCO International Cooperation and Consulting Services Co. Ltd. signed framework agreement with Ji Lin International Economic and Technological Cooperation Association Co., in which TESCO Group provided professional vehicle technique training for 350 Chinese technicians. For years, TESCO Group has offered plenty of transferred technologies in multiple areas like energy resource, heavy industry, chemistry, agriculture, mining industry and health care, etc. In recent years, TESCO Group has also provided short-term technical training for Chinese experts. Since TESCO is the strategic partner of Bureau of Foreign Experts Affair of the PRC and China Association for International Exchange of Personnel, it has been entrusted to provide short-term consulting services for experts in different provinces in China, and organize them to visit and study in Hungary.

As for the reason for the cooperation with WIOT, TESCO Group expressed that they wanted to provide practice for the development of IOT, transfer European technologies to China, create more comfortable environment and participate in joint development of products and technologies of this kind.

Kalvin Ma, Chairman of WIOT Technology Group Co., Ltd. said that advanced foreign technologies are difficult to enter China, while at the same time, with the profound industrial base and the necessity of industrial and urban upgrading, Foshan is in great need of advanced technological supports. Through cooperation with TESCO and other Hungarian enterprises, WIOT hopes to build resource integration platform to match mutual demands and to promote transformation and upgrading of Foshan city and industries through introducing advanced European technologies and experience.
